Following directions of the Government, the Almora district administration is going to organise multipurpose grievance redressal camps/ janta darbars in all blocks of the district on February 19, 2014 to address the grievances of the citizens, appealing to them to attend the multipurpose camps in their respective blocks in maximum number.
The interesting fact is that citizens will be able to get their long pending concerns resolved on the spot in these multipurpose camps in the respective blocks, said officials concerned of the Almora district administration.
Apart from getting their long pending grievances addressed, the citizens may also be able to get matters related to ration cards, death or birth certificates, old age, widow and handicap pensions to name a few solved in these multipurpose camps in every block office on February 19 , added the officials concerned of the district administration, Almora.
Besides, they will also be able to know about popular Government schemes in these multipurpose camps, they added. Therefore, all the officials concerned of the respective departments have been asked to ensure their participation in these camps so that problems of the citizens could be solved on the spot.
More importantly, respective block development officers, will chair the multipurpose camp meetings in those blocks where SDMs are not posted presently, the Almora district administration made it clear to the respective officials concerned.
The multipurpose camps will be started in all blocks from 11 am on Wednesday. Therefore, citizens are advised to take up their long pending matters with the officials concerned in these multipurpose camps, informed the officials concerned of the Almora district administration.
