The executive committee meeting of International Vaish Federation (IVF) will be held from January 10 to January 12 at Patanjali Yog Peeth in Haridwar, said IVF, Uttarakhand general secretary Vinay Goyal said while interacting with media persons on Saturday.
Uttarakhand Governor Aziz Qureshi, Chief Minister Harish Rawat, Union Cabinet Minister Piyush Goyal, Yog Guru Baba Ramdev, around 250 NRIs and thousands of IVF members across the country are expected to participate in the event. IVF is a social/ political organisation focused on narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor and on boosting development of the country, informed by IVF State president Sohan lal Gupta. One should not think IVF as a caste- based exclusive organisation, though it is championing the interests of the Vaish community, he said.
