Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre has forecast very light to light rain/snow at isolated places in Uttarakhand, especially in Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh districts on Wednesday.
Anand Sharma, director, Uttarakhand Meteorological Centre, said western disturbances would trigger rain or snow in the higher reaches of the state. In Dehradun, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 31.5°C and 16.6°C respectively on Tuesday. The weather forecast for Dehradun on Wednesday is partly cloudy sky. Thunder cloud development may occur in some areas. Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 30°C and 17°C respectively on Wednesday in Dehradun, it is learnt.
