A team from Institute of Road Traffic Education, Faridabad conducted a survey in various areas to ascertain accident risks and bottlenecks.
The team would submit its report on how to improve traffic system in the city to Dehradun police soon. On Tuesday, the team conducted survey in Mussoorie.
They visited the bottle neck point near library Chowk to understand traffic pressure and to suggest about the steps which are required to improve traffic there.
On Mussoorie Road, they evaluated speed limit through interceptors. Works being done by PWD and NHAI officials at the black spots in Mussoorie were evaluated too.
They also visited Dhanaulti Road. On Wednesday, the team would conduct survey at various places in Dehradun city. Notably, the team had conducted survey on Rajpur Road near NIVH on Monday.
