The media had received e-mails from the office of the Forest minister Dinesh Aggarwal on Wednesday inviting journalists to cover the forest conservators’ meet on Thursday. However, when the media persons reached the meeting hall, they were first informed by the divisional forest officer that they should wait outside the meeting hall for the minister to arrive as the media is not allowed to attend internal meetings of the department. later, when Aggarwal arrived, he too asked the media persons to leave and on being informed that the media had been invited by his office, he apologised and said that details of the meeting would be provided to them later.
