As many as 24 industrial plots still remain vacant in the industrial area of Dwarahat, Almora.
Despite the State Government’s Integrated Hill Industrial Policy that offered special concessions to the industrialists, only eight industrial units have started working in the industrial plots allotted to them in the Dwarahat industrial so far, said officials of the district industry centre, Almora. However, officials have expressed confident that some industries might start functioning as soon as construction works were on in some more plots. Meanwhile, the district administration Almora has directed the officials of the district industry centre Almora to complete all necessary formalities in regard to industrial plot allotment on time so that entrepreneurs won’t have to face any inconvenience.
At the same time, the district administration also asked officials to scrutinise the application forms received for industrial plots thoroughly.
