'Incident has proved that the home is being ill-cared by Cong Govt'

Speaking of the ongoing controversy involving Nari Niketan based  in Dehradun on Tuesday, the leader of  the Opposition in the State Assembly Ajay Bhatt alleged that the incident had justified their claim of the home being  ill-cared by  the Congress-led State Government.

“Now they are seeking to reap political capital out  of the serious matter.  The clean chit given by the State women Congress president Sarita Arya and State PCC president Kishore Upadhayay after they visited the place for short while is a  pointer to the fact,” he said.

“The administration has imposed ban on the entry of any outsider with the  probe  on.  The  medical report involving the  inmates is being awaited. Yet,  surprisingly,   the ruling party leaders ‘inspected’ the area  for a few minutes and sought to undermine the incident. Not content with that,  they blamed the media for wrong reporting.  It shows how  serious the Congress and its Government  are towards the residents of Nari Niketan. We beg to ask if there was nothing wrong why they have constituted  special investigating team (SIT) to probe thingsIJ” Bhatt asked.

“They are callous as far as the  honour  of  the   State’s mothers and sisters is concerned. We  demand the Government to conduct an independent enquiry to get to the bottom of the matter,” he added.
