The Income Tax department investigation wing of Ranchi on Friday conducted raids at Bokaro and Dhanbad based textile business firms- ‘Rajshree’ on tax evasion matter.
The five-member teams of IT sleuths on the direction of additional director IT, Sandeep Raj simultaneously launched the search and seizure operations at house and business premises at Boakro and Dhanbad in connection with disproportionate assets and a tax evasion matter, I-T officials informed. Sources informed that during the day-long raids, documents and bank statements have been seized which will be examined by I-T officials. The entire operations were carried out by Income tax department Ranchi.
