In a petition filed by the Akhil Bharatiya Kisan Mahasabha in the High Court on the Bindukhatta municipality issue, the court has issued a notice to the State Government seeking its reply on the issue in three weeks. The petitioner and ABKM national secretary Purushottam Sharma said that he had filed a petition challenging the legality of the municipality in the High Court.
He informed, “The petition has been admitted by the High Court which has sought a reply from the State Government within three weeks. If the State Government does not file an affidavit in its reply to the HC in three weeks, the ABKM will gherao the residence of local MlA and State labour minister Harish Chandra Durgapal,” he said.
