In view of President Pranab Mukherjee’s scheduled Uttarakhand visit on May 18-19, Governor KK Paul held a meeting with State Chief Secretary N Ravishankar and Dehradun DM Ravinath Raman along with the other department officials here on Wednesday.
They reviewed preparations for the proposed programmes and gave the officials necessary instructions to complete their assigned duties in time. All works of digging roads, crossings and other important places in the city must be put on hold till May 19, he said. The Chief Secretary also warned that actions will be taken against those who are caught digging roads during the time of President’s visit.
