In a bid to expedite relief works including house construction in natural disaster affected areas, the Bageshwar district administration has announced setting up of grievance redressal committees at the tehsil and district-level.
Respective SDMs will head the grievance redressal committee at the tehsil level, and ADM will head the said committee at the district-level, said BS Manral, District Magistrate, Bageshwar.
People may register their complaints in regard to construction of houses damaged by the disaster in their respective tehsils. In case the complaint is not resolved in three days, the complainants may appeal to the grievance redressal committee headed by ADM at district-level, officials of the Bageshwar district Magistrate further said.
More so, in case the complaint is not solved even at the district-level within three days, the matter can be taken up with the committee headed by project director at the Government level, added District Magistrate Manral.
Meanwhile, people concerned may contact SDM Bageshwar Fincha Ram Chauhan at 9411181108 to register their complaints related to construction of houses at the Bagehswar tehsil, while SDM Kapkot KS Toliya, may be approached at 9412306662 for registration of the grievances related to the same construction of houses at Kapkot tehsil, added officials. Similarly, people concerned may approach CS Dobhal, SDM Garur, on his mobile number i.e. 9412105405 for registration of similar complaints at the Garur tehsil, while Rekha Kohali, SDM Kanda, may be contacted at 9412130860 to register their house construction related complaints at the Kanda tehsil. At the same time, people concerned may approach the District Disaster Management Officer Riya Sanguri at 8193917518 and district control room at 05963220197 to register their complaints related to construction of houses at the district level, further said the officials concerned of the Bageshwar district administration.
