The Nainital district administration has sought the Government’s approval for developing an industrial hub at Bagjala in Haldwani’s Golapar area.

After a joint survey conducted by the district industry centre and the forest department concerned  for developing an industrial hub in a piece of land at Bagjala in Golapar,  a proposal has been sent to the Government for its approval in this regard, said the official concerned of the Nainital district administration.

Subsequently, further steps would be taken for development of the Bagjala area in Haldwani’s Golapar as an industrial hub, added the officials concerned of the Nainital district administration.

However, as the officials concerned of the district industry centre said the priority would remain to promote micro and small scale non- polluting industries in this proposed industrial hub at Bagjala.

Given its access to road head from both Haldwani and Sitarganj sides, the aforesaid proposed industrial hub at Bagjala may come in handy for the entrepreneurs to run their business.
