Workers’ associations must work in unison to make Uttarakhand a prosperous State. There should be a friendly relation between State workers and the Government.
The Government is committed to welfare of the workers and will take positive steps in the direction. The Chief Minister assured his support for the workers while stressing that they should not resort to work boycott to pressurise the Government.
Chief Minister Harish Rawat said this at a programme held to mark Engineers Day here on Monday by Uttarakhand Diploma Engineer Federation. Rawat requested the workers’ associations to not take up the path of strikes to get their work done. He emphasised that everyone must comprehend the current financial constraints of the State.
