Dehradun's Mall turned into a ‘lovedome’ for the young couples on the day of love – Valentine’s Day. The Valentine’s week celebrations at the mall provided an attractive arena for the lovebirds to have a gala time with various interesting activities that also fulfilled their wishes in terms of attractive gifts for making the occasion truly memorable.
The youth were seen participating enthusiastically in the specially designed innovative events going with the theme of love and romance. The mall created ‘The Wishing well’ where the couples threw in coins and made secret wishes of a gift related to branded products in the mall they wished to give to their special one. They had the choice of gifts based on a selection card of mentioned gifts every evening. Those lucky couples were chosen by drawing out the cards from the wishing well daily. The chosen list of winners will be announced on Monday.
At the heart of the celebration was ‘The tree of love,’ which had love messages, hearts and lights strung by the couples.
This also turned out be a moment of great photo-op for the couples. Couples could also get their images tied on the tree.
Another popular fun activity was ‘The Arrow of love’ – that became a rage as couples aimed an arrow at a large heart attached to the tree of love. Many young couples showed their enthusiasm to make an aim, and as many as 25 of them earned themselves a special dinner.
