Amidst pandemonium, the Treasury Bench managed to have five bills — Motherhood University Bill-2014, Uttarakhand Agriculture and Technology University (amendment) Bill proposed by the Agriculture Ministry, Uttarakhand State Gairsain Development Council Bill proposed by the Housing and Urban Development Ministry, Uttarakhand State Mining Development Council Bill and Uttarakhand State Infrastructure Development Council Bill 2014 — passed by the House. After completing the day’s business, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Indira Hridayesh asked the Speaker to adjourn the house sine die. The Speaker announced the same a day ahead of the schedule.
Earlier, the Governor had called five- day (November 24-28) long session. However, it concluded in four days.
