Anxiety reigned in the State Assembly when the Finance Minister Prakash Pant collapsed. He became unconscious in the midst of his Budget speech on the day. However, the Minister regained consciousness after he was attended by the medical staff in his chamber. The Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat completed the Budget speech while the Finance Minister took rest. The doctors attending the Minister said that exertion of working for long has resulted in dipping of the blood pressure of the Minister. Later, while talking to the media persons, Pant also said that the unconsciousness has been triggered by his low blood pressure.
