Chhattisgarh’s farmers will soon start getting their copy of khasra, drawing and B-1 form for their farmland online from September 1 next.

In order to provide a computerised copy of the land records, the State Government will stop providing handwritten copies thorough the patwaris in various districts.

Chief Secretary Vivek Dhand, while reviewing the departmental works here on Tuesday, instructed the Collector and the district panchayat CEO to visit one panchayat every month and to review progress of work made in ensuring drinking water supply, anganwadi, health and education services by a holding meeting of panchayat representatives.

He asked them to appoint one In-charge officer each for the 239 village panchayats of the district who would visit the panchayat every month and look after the works there.

Principal Secretary panchayat and Rural Development MK Raut, Principal Secretary PWD RP Mandal, Secretary PHED GS Mishra, Collector Avanish Champawat, Superintendent of Police BS Dhruv, CEO district panchayat Ranu Sahu and district officers of departments concerned were present in the meeting.

The Chief Secretary said that after registration of land, the registration officers would compulsorily provide one copy of the registry to the Sub -divisional Revenue Officer.

He directed to start a ‘livelihood Mission School’ in the district within three months. To prevent seasonal diseases, action should be taken to purify drinking water sources before monsoon.

The Chief Secretary instructed the officials that field staff should stay at district headquarters; otherwise, their salary should not be released. Whitewashing of all schools should be done before June 30.

Dhand directed to increase institutional deliveries and to achieve the target of cent per cent vaccination. In the review meeting, CEO Ranu Sahu said that sanction was accorded for construction of 26 labour rooms in the district for institutional delivery under the integrated development programme.

Of which, 20 labour rooms have been completed. Institu-tional delivery has increased from 67 to 74 per cent. The Chief Secretary asked the Collector to hold meeting of block medical officers every month.
