Experts spoke on various issues at a conference on future trends in communication and computation techniques- NCCT 2013 organised by Selaqui Academy of Higher Education on Friday.
The conference was technically co-sponsored by International Journal of Scientific and Engineering Research. The chief guest, Uttarakhand Space Application Centre director Dr MM Kimothi addressed the researchers on issues related to satellite communication and its applications in engineering. Satellite technology can play an important role in various fields including communication and computation, he said. Prof UK Gupta, ex-deputy GM, ONGC Dehradun spoke on simulation under stochastic environment while SAHE director Prof Dharmbuddhi spoke on
numerical computational techniques for engineering applications.SAHE managing director Anshul Pathak said that basic cell phones will slowly fade away as smart-phones have become more common and less expensive. The conference featured original research and industrial papers on the theory, design and implementation of the technologies in communication and intelligent computing techniques, as well as demonstrations, workshops and industrial presentations.
