An examinee, Ashok Kumar, who had appeared for Teacher Eligibility Test in Ambawati Inter College, Panditwadi, escaped with question paper and OMR answer sheet in the second shift from the examination centre in Dehradun.
Dehradun chief education officer SP Khali said that he has ordered the examination centre head to lodge an FIR against the examinee. According to him, 29024 persons had applied for this test out of which around 87.6 per cent examinees appeared in the examination held at 44 examination centres including six in Rishikesh in Dehradun district.
It should be mentioned here that around 1. 26 lakh candidates had applied for Teacher Eligibility Test in the state and education department had made as many as 367 examination centers. This examination was held in two shifts as from 10 am -12 pm and 2.30 pm - 4.30 pm.
