He said, “The hospital management has made all the special arrangements for the treatment of dengue patients. Proper arrangements have been made so that complete treatment, blood and beds can be made available to the these patients in time. The hospital also has NABl Certified Central lab, where there are proper arrangements for the testing of suspected dengue patients available 24 hours.’’

Dr Rai added that the hospital is organising health camp in dengue infested Patharibagh area of the city in collaboration with the district health department and the samples of suspected patients of Dengue of Pathri Bagh and nearby areas are being tested free of cost.

Dr Dhand informed that in case, anyone notices the symptoms of Dengue; he/she must immediately consult an efficient Physician and take complete course of action for the disease. He added that there are so many wrong notions in the society regarding the fall of Platelets in the dengue patient.

The society must keep away from all such notions. “The treatment of Dengue is very much possible just like Common Flu, provided the treatment is started in time under an efficient Physician,’’ he said.
