‘All admitted persons are being beaten up’
A Drug Rehabilitation Centre, Maldevta, Raipur manager had allegedly beaten M Mehta, resident of Balawala whose treatment was being done in the centre. This was alleged by Mehta’s family members. According to the members, M Mehta was admitted in the centre but the manager allegedly beaten and burnt him with cigarette butts. When family members wished to meet him in the centre the centre officials did not allow a few days ago.
The family members somehow managed to evacuate Mehta from the centre and he was later admitted in Doon Hospital. The members alleged that all the persons admitted in the centre are being beaten mercilessly by the manager.
