While patient inflow in the Doon Hospital has increased, the duties of doctors from the hospital for Assembly Session at Gairsain has constrained the hospital administration. Two physicians, one cardiologist and one anesthetist from the hospital are sent to the Gairsain to serve the members of the assembly. It is worth mentioning that Dr K B Joshi is the only cardiologist stationed at the biggest Government hospital of the State and with him going to Gairsain, the cardiology patients of the hospital are suffering. On Tuesday, more than 2,100 new patients visited the hospital while a day earlier, the figure was 2332.
