District Magistrate of Dehradun, BVRC Purushottam expressed his dissatisfaction to the officials of the company concerned for the slow progress in making of Aadhar cards and instructed the officials to speed up the work.
After studying the progress report shown by the company which stated only 31.19 percent biometric enrolment, Purushottam said that this depicts the slow and poor work performance of the officials, which is leading into the delay in making of the Aadhar cards. Purushottam instructed the area manager of the company to speed up the important work.
He also said that the company would be blamed for all the delays as government has already provided required amount for this work to the company. He also instructed the company officials to start work of the second phase and issue Aadhar cards to those whose biometric enrolment has been done.
