The district administration Almora has ordered a magisterial enquiry into a road accident in which 17 passengers died and 22 otherswere injured when a bus they were travelling fell off theroad near Dhyari in Amora on June 20.
The district magistrate Almora, Vinod Kumar Suman has appointed SDMBhanoli as the investigating officer in the road accident case. The report must be submitted in 20 days, DM said.
It may be recalled that there were 39 passengers travelling in this ill-fated Uttarakhand roadways bus with registered number UK0 7 P A 1093.
