In a bid to sort out the grievance between the Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh Government, State Additional Chief Secretary Rakesh Sharma convened a meeting with the Uttar Pradesh Awas Vikash Parishad and Uttarakhand Awas Vikas Parishad here in secretariat on Friday. In which they discussed about the distribution of properties between the two states and how to demarcate State map as well.
During the meeting they decided to divide property Awas Vikash Parishad between the two States on the pattern of Uttar Pradesh State Infrastructure Development Corporation (UPSIDC). Besides, Uttarakhand was given authority to approve the map of properties division between the two States. Even both States will settle down their outstanding issues in next one month. During the meeting Secretary Housing DS Garbhyal, Housing Commission UP Rudra Pratap Singh, Additional Housing Commissioner V Shanmugam and officials of two States were present.
