Champawat district administration has been able to utilise only about Rs 22.25 crore so far against about Rs 43.77 crore approved under the district plan for the financial year 2013-2014.
Similarly, it has been able to spend Rs 49 crore against Rs 65.66 crore approved under the State sector plan for the year 2013-2014 so far, as the officials concerned of the district administration, Champawat said. In the meanwhile, the Champawat district administration claims to have spent about Rs 55 crore so far under the Centrally sponsored schemes category against Rs 76.45 crore approved under the same centrally sponsored schemes head.
However, the district administration Champawat has directed the officials concerned of different departments to ensure full utilisation of the fund available with their respective departments for different projects on time. At the same time, the district administration Champawat, has also asked the officials concerned to conduct physical verification of different projects which have been completed so far in district.
Besides, it has also asked the officials concerned to expedite pace of different ongoing developmental projects in the district so that people of the respective areas could be benefitted from these developmental projects.
