A Devbhoomi Jan Sewa Kendra (Common Service Centre) was inaugurated by IT secretary Deepak Kumar at landhaur, Mussoorie on Sunday. This would be the first CSC in Mussoorie sub division.
There was no E-District centre in Mussoorie which is why under the "Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar" policy of chief minister Harish Rawat, this initiative was taken by the department of Information Technology.
As on date, more than 500 CSCs (Private in PPP Mode) out of 2300 ave been authorised to take the applications from the public and disburse the certificates (Caste, Income, Residence, Character, Solvency) issued throughout Uttarakhand.
