The greatness of Indian culture reverberated through the Royal Methodist Hall of Westminster london, England where Prince Charles along with some inter-faith leaders were present as the pro vice-chancellor of Haridwar–based Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya Chinmaya Pandya expounded the lofty strains of the Indian culture there.
He is now on a fortnight-long Europe visit. He stressed on the uniqueness of the Indian culture that lies in its infinite assimilative genius while addressing a congregation hosted by Faith in leadership Organisation on Different Religions and their Co-Existence.
Among the dignitaries who attended the symposium were Prince Charles, Archbishop of Canterbury and officials from PM’s Office. Besides, over 150 preachers and scholars of several religions were present.
While speaking to The Pioneer, the spokesperson of Shantikunj, Kirtan Desai said, “It is a matter of pride for us that Chinmaya Pandya was among the five invitees to the congregation.
His speech was so impressive that he was invited to speak for the second day at the House of lords.”
“Pandya dwelt at length not just on the unparalleled depth of wisdom embodied by the Indian saints and sages but also on the new socio-cultural projects undertaken by All World Gayatri Parivar for the benefit of humanity at large,” Desai said.
