The Schools of Dehradun need additional security in wake of the Peshawar incident in which terrorists had gunned down hundreds of school children. Noted advocate and member of Marshall School society Rajnish Jayal raised this issue during his meeting with the State Governor KK Paul on Monday. A delegation of Marshall School teachers and student led by veteran journalist and educationist, GC Juyal called uponPaul at Raj Bhawan.
The delegation apprised him about the problems the english medium public schools face. They also apprised him about the contribution made by the school during the Kedarnath tragedy. He was requested to convene a meeting of all the school heads of Dehradun, Mussoorie and Nainital so that views on school and higher education are shared.
