PNS

After expressing concern over the callous approach of the State Government for not introducing potent steps for pushing the State further on the path of progress, former chairman of Rajya Nirman Andolankari Samman Parishad Ravindra Jugran said that Congress mayoral candidate, Suryakant Dhasmana will lose the civic polls as he is accused in Karanpur firing case. He said that Congress has insulted the sentiments of Statehood activists and residents by fielding Dhasmana on the mayoral post of Municipal Corporation of Dehradun.

While addressing the mediapersons during a Press conference held at BJP State party office in Dehradun on Thursday, Jugran claimed that the Congress-led State Government is mis-guiding the State’s residents that MCD mayoral candidates is acquitted by the court despite the fact that the hearing is due on May 06 as CBI has once again produced the writ to the High Court.

He claimed that it would be unfair to treat Dhasmana completely acquitted in Karanpur firing case as the case is still pending in the high court. Jugran also urged the state election commission to enquire into the matter that whether Congress mayoral candidate, Suryakant Dhasmana has mentioned in affidavit or declaration about the next hearing, if not then commission should take stringent action against him.

“By fielding Dhasmana on MCD mayoral post, the Congress-led State Government is denting the image of especially those Statehood activities, who sacrificed their lives for the formation of Uttarakhand,” he said, adding that Congress candidates will surely taste defeat on all major seats in the Garhwal and Kumaon divisions of Uttarakhand as development activities are completely stopped across the State due to the wrongful polices implemented by the State Government in the last one year. Jugran also cornered the State Government for quashing the beneficiary schemes and projects which were introduced during BJP regime in Uttarakhand.
