Sounding elated over the Congress stalwart Narayan Dutt Tiwari joining BJP, State BJP media in-charge Dr Devendra Bhasin said on Wednesday that the Congress in the State has been crumbling like a pack of cards with leaders jumping the sinking ship to serve the State in a better way. “This marks the beginning of the end of the party in the state and the final would be played out on February 15- the day election would be held,” he said.
He further said that the congress having lost the battle psychologically and strategically well ahead of the election, they are fighting shy of announcing its first list even days after BJP did it. “Frightened out of their wits, they are flaunting carrots to some BJP leaders to switch sides. But their attempts to break our party would prove futile. Ours is a disciplined party breaking which is very difficult. We would remain united despite the Congress allurement,” he averred.
