PNS

In response to the high tech election management of the rival BJP, the state unit of the Congress party has spruced up its IT cell in order to reach its workers and sympathisers for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

The IT cell of Congress located in the state party office is buzzing with activities these days.

The cell has constituted a ten member core team which is has complete data bank of the party workers, details of the booth level party workers and the past performance of the party in these booths.

The in- charge of the IT cell, Amarjeet Singh said that the party has about 100 whatsApp groups in which more than 20000 party workers are connected.

He said that the messages on false promises made by the Narendra Modi like providing two crore employments every year and loan waiver to the farmers are circulated in these groups. Similarly the cyber warriors of the congress are focussing on ill effects of GST and demonetisation on the social media platforms.

Apart from Modi, the cyber cell is attacking the state government on failure of its ‘Zero Tolerance on corruption’ maxim. Apart from it the party has undertaken a drive to connect with more than 58000 party members telephonically.

The head of the data analysis department of the Congress Diwan Singh Tomar said the department is propagating the message of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President Pritam Singh among thousands of party workers. In its endeavour the cells has so far connected with the district and block level workers and is now reaching out the booth level workers.

Tomar claimed that the workers of the party are very enthusiastic and ready for the battle of the Lok Sabha.
