Chief Minister Harish Rawat’s media advisor Surendra Kumar lashed out at the State BJP leadership on Monday, alleging that they are spreading cock and bull story to camouflage their dismal and repeated failure to rise to the occasion.
Training his gun particularly on State BJP chief spokesperson Munna Singh Chouhan, the CM’s close aide said that he should go for introspection to imbibe lessons from the strings of failures instead of raising concocted charges against the ruling party.
“It seems they are finding it difficult to digest the fact that the people have rejected them outright. They are taking solace from the CBI harassing the CM. They are fool to think that CBI would help them win power all over the country,” he said.
He advised BJP to act responsibly, keeping in view the fact that the same party is now ruling at the Centre. “They ought to work together with the state government to develop the state. But they are keeping development in the back-burner to do reckless and purely sectarian kind of politics. They lack spunk and commitment to raise the issue of the state budget being suppressed by the vindictive Centre,” he added.
“They should delve within to find answer why a Dalit leader and an MlA have resigned. They should listen to their inner voice to stop the party from sliding further downward,” Kumar said.
