Chief Minister Harish Rawat has appealed to the non-resident Uttarakhand (NRU) Indians to come to Uttarakhand and make investment. For your convenience we have requested Union Railway Minister to start direct rail servie from Mumbai to Dehradun, Mumbai to Kathgodam and Mumbai to Tanakpur (pithrogarh). With this you (NRU) will reap its benefit and their frequence to visit home State would increase.
Even he also appealed to the industrialist that there is tremendous opportunity in the State and even he appealed to the NRU to make their contribution in State development. For this State Government is running Mera Gaon Mera Dhan (my village my wealth), under which you can build a building like school and hospital.
State would take the property on lease or rent, which will be two per cent more than the interest on fixed deposit (FD). Even State has made a policy for the promotion of Micro, small and medium (MSM) industries. CM Rawat expressed these views while addressing the gathering after laying foundation stone of Badrinath temple at Mumbai on Sunday. He also assured that their Government will provide as much as logistic support in it.
Now NRU can avail this scheme and with this they would get an investment opportunity in the State and State growth rate would increased. He also assured that State Government would start construction work on the land of State estate department shortly. This is great decision that people have decided to build a temple of Badrinath at Mumbai and this would motivate people to visit to Uttarkahand for Char Dham.
The temple is being build at the the cost of Rs 11 crore and it would comprise three community hall and 100 rooms, which will be open for the patient and students during their stay in Mumbai. Other dignitaries including Ex-CM Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Mahamandleshwar Vishveshwarnand, industrialist Mohan Kala, Heera Singh Bhakuni, Ganesh Samwal, Madhwanand Bhatt and several priest and NRU were present there.
