CM personifies partisan politics, says Ajay Bhatt

PNS

leader of the Opposition Ajay Bhatt said his party, BJP will welcome the President Pranab Mukherjee, who is all set to address the Assembly on May 18. “This would be an object lesson for the ruling party and the State Government on how to maintain decorum in the House,” he said, adding that the the Congress is indulging in divisive game to keep it divided into two groups. He made this statement after attending all party meeting led by Speaker Govind Singh Kunjwal, which conducted ahead of President visit, here in Vidhan Sabha on Saturday.

“The CM personifies partisan politics. While he takes immense care of the Congress MlAs’ constituencies he cares damn for the constituencies which have BJP MlAs. This amounts to flagrant violation of the basic principle of the Constitution,” he said. “The only exception is Didihaat Assembly constituency. Here the CM has reviewed progress. However, while reviewing progress he humiliated the BJP MlA Bishan Singh Chufal at bay,” he said.

He said if allowed he would meet President to ask him to inspire the CM into showing respect to the fundamental essence of parliamentary democracy. “There are instances of the CM withdrawing his statement after giving written assurance to the MlAs inside the Vidhan Sabha,” he said.
