Things ended well for a woman and her child from a remote village in Purola in Uttarkashi district at the direct intervention of the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. What happened is that with her village and its neighbourhood being bereft of medical facilities, the worried mother called up the CM himself on his mobile number as her child was taken seriously ill at late night hours. The CM instantly acted on the mother’s plea and called up the Purola SDM, asking him to do whatever was required to have the child rightly treated. SDM rushed to her residence and had the child admitted at the district hospital. Now, the child is recovering fast.
