On September 18, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat is going to complete six months in his office as chief minister of Uttarakhand, when CM would celebrate its six month of his office then entire state including Opposition would review his progress report.
Although chief minister Rawat says that he has managed to streamline the things and managed to give shape to the economically derailed state finance status. Although during these months he was busy in shaping to the state economy and people had to face inconvenience. It is an achievement of the CM that not a single corruption has revealed so far but no major achievement has reported so far. After inception of his government he had recommended NH scam to CBI but six months passed but CBI has not issued notification on it.
Due to this delay there is a question mark that will CM succeed to continue its crusade against corruptionIJ As we know that while informing to the media that CM had categorically said that he has begun crusade against the corruption and he would not bother even if his own people name reveals in corruption which is why he has been referring the case to the CBI. To make assertion he had ordered to suspend five SDMs with immediate effect. Now the decision has become crux for the state because neither they are able to execute it nor they are able to deny it on public forum. Although these days CM has stopped raking the CBI enquiry issue in public address so it has raised question mark is CM still serious on NH scamIJ
Talking to the media person, CM said that he has been doing work silently instead of making political stunt. He has received derailed economy from his predecessor which is why he has to work hard and taking harsh decision to plug the loopholes.
It is known to everyone that CM Cabinet has curtailed the two grade pay of the employee to implement the recommendation of pay anomalies committee. It has created chaos in the state but somehow chief secretary has managed to control by giving an assurance that their matter will be reviewed in next cabinet meeting. Similarly, Bhojan mata, which were earning by cooking food under mid day meal scheme (MDMS), has lost partially because government has signed MoU with Akshypatra to serve cooked food among school children in four districts and will lose completely after implementation of across the State.
Opposition ie State Congress President Preetam Singh said that the CM has failed in all fronts because law and order situation has deteriorated because despite police complaint allegedly accused in roaming scot free. It all can happen only in BJP led State Government.
For instance two Cabinet Ministers’ supporter fought with each other and even they lodged complaint but no action has been taken by the police so far. Similarly, MP and MlA fought and police lodged complaint against MlA but nothing has happened. In Third case ABVP leaders stormed into the ashram of BJP MlA and FIR was lodged. Similarly, another MlA exchanged heated words with the CM so in nutshell you can say that Government is nowhere. Although replying to the question that during congress regime a Cabinet Minister had hosted dinner and bullet was shot and a congress leader had severed injured.
Thereafter, police had lodged complaint but nothing happened so how can you condemn the incumbent Government on law and order situation, Preetam Singh said that we have been punished for our failure. By making our failure with incumbent Government failure you can’t shirk your accountability towards public.
He further said that as it is known to everyone that BJP national president Amit Shah is coming to Dehradun on two days long tour and BJP led State Government is putting all effort to facelift the Dehradun especially in around the venue where Shah would visit. Does it mean that CM is accountable to his party only and he does not have accountability towards peopleIJ He further alleged that CM is accountable for three chairs ie Prime Minister, BJP President and RSS. Although during election they project that they are for the people and with the people but after election they have become anti people.
