MlA Rajkumar Thukral alleged the person residing on Government land (nazul land) having no title right was being made to get title right by paying prevailing circle rate. He asked the Minister to give title right on the basis of circle rate fixed on November 9, 2000, because most of the people can’t afford current circle rate. Chief Minister Harish Rawat assured the House he would make sure that DM would organise a camp to disburse title rights to the occupants.
MlA Harbans Kapur said due to recent hailstorm, the farmers had lost their crops. Agriculture Minister Harak Singh Rawat said he had asked the DM, District Agriculture Officer and Horticulture Officer to assess the loss. He said the Union Agriculture Minister has said that crop loss due to hailstorm would be brought under natural disaster. If it happened the State would not face any inconvenience in future.
