The Champawat district administration has ordered a magisterial inquiry into a road accident case in which one person died and six others were injured when a vehicle (UA-04 -C 8283) they were travelling in, met with an accident at Kumaiyakura area in Champawat's Paati tehsil on March 25, 2014.
However, the district administration, Champawat, has appointed the Paati Sub Divisional Magistrate, Ashok Joshi, as investigating officer to conduct a magisterial inquiry into this road accident case.
In the meanwhile, SDM Joshi has appealed to the people to submit their statements in writing or verbally in SDM office, Paati, on all working days till April 22, 2014.
