PNS

Taking cognizance of the problems faced by the students in absence of Off-line examination centre of JEE main examination the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has given its nod for such centres in Dehradun.

It is learnt that the CBSE is scouting the schools where this examination can be conducted. Earlier the students opting for Offline (pen and paper) mode of examination in IIT JEE had to travel either to Haridwar, Haldwani or Roorkee. The CBSE took note of last year when hundreds of the students of Dehradun and surrounding areas were stuck up in traffic jams and could not make it to the examination centres on time.

It is learnt that 85-90 percent of the total aspirants still opt for Off line mode of examination. The CBSE has recently released the JEE Main notification according to which students can apply for the examination from December 01 and the last date of application is December 31.  The examination of JEE Main is slated to be held on April 3 2016.
