Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and BJP Mazdoor Morcha have extended their support to Swajal Sangathan as its members have been continuing an indefinite strike for the past 24 days in support of their pending demands.
Their demands include restructuring of 22-year-old Swajal, regularisation of employees working on temporary basis under Swajal projects, extention of the services of about 58 employees who have been removed from Swajal, state jal and Swachchha Mission from March 1, 2017 and other demands.
BJP Mazdoor Morcha State vice president Surendra Singh Chauhan expressed disappointment over delay in redressal of the organisation’s demands. The officers concerned should talk to the association members and steps should be taken for the redressal of their demand without delay, he said.
