PNS

The activists of Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJVM) burned the effigy of the State Government at lansdowne Chowk here on Friday in protest against absence of medicines of Government hospitals.

The members of BJVM assembled at the busy Chowk of the city and engaged in slogan shouting against the State Government for its failure to provide health facility to the people of the State.

The district president of the Morcha, Vipin Rana said that the patients are suffering due to the non availability of medicines in the hospitals. He said that the corruption has vitiated the vitals of the State health services. Rana said that series of scams in the health services have put a question mark over the functioning of the Government. He alleged that the scam in the hospitals running in PPP mode has exposed that the private player was made payments despite its failure to provide required number of doctors in these centres. As a protest measure the activists consigned an effigy of the State Government to flames.
