Uttarakhand BJP election campaign committee chairman Bachi Singh Rawat alias Bachida, who had expressed his anguish when his name was not included in the panel for Nainital-Udhamsinghnagar lok Sabha constituency, has categorically said that BJP is going to win all five seats of the State.
He further said that three ex-CM namely Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, Maj Gen Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri and Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, who have been contesting election from Nainital-Udhamsinghnagar, Garhwal and Haridwar lok Sabha seats respectively, will be inducted into Narendra Modi led NDA Government. He also expressed hope that remaining two candidates namely MlA Ajay Tamta and sitting MP Mala Rajya laxmi Shah, who have been in the fray from Almora and Tehri Garhwal constituency respectively, will also be inducted into new Cabinet.
It would be pertinent to mentioned here that in 2009 when Bachida was State BJP president and also in the fray from Nainital Udhamsinghnagar constituency, BJP had lost all five lok Sabha seats of the State. Bachida said by winning all five seats of the state he would balance his defeat with congress during general election-2009. Meanwhile state BJP has made huge monitoring room, where all senior leaders will keep close watch on giant Television screen, and will exchange update from party workers deployed in different counting centre of the State.
