The BJP State chief Teerath Singh Rawat, who was injured during the protest rally on Thursday, has announced a Statewide agitation on Saturday to protest against the failure of the State Government to provide satisfactory answers to the questions raised by the Opposition on various important issues.
In a statement released to the media, Rawat said that the Opposition had cooperated to ensure undisrupted debate in the House on the recent disaster. However, the party will protest across the State on Saturday against the Government decision on not extending the session, its failure to debate the shooting incident at Agriculture minister Harak Singh Rawat's residence, its reluctance to clarify the mining policy and privatization of mining and abetting hooliganism in the State apart from not providing satisfactory answers to questions raised by the Opposition.
