Following the arrest of a news channel owner, the Bharatiya Janata Party has stated that the conspiracy to destabilise the State Government is a serious matter. The investigation underway in the case will expose the whole conspiracy in this regard. Just like impartial investigation is exposing facts in the national highway 74 scam, the reality in this case will also be exposed soon.
The BJP state media in charge Devendra Bhasin said that a journalist of a news channel had lodged a report against the CEO of the channel he worked for, a State Government officer and other persons leveling serious allegations including conduct of a sting operation aimed at orchestrating political instability in the State. The police have started investigation in this case and the law is taking its course.
The investigation is being conducted in an impartial manner so that the facts are ascertained and action is taken according to the law.
Bhasin further said that some people are not liking the manner in which the State Government under the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat is pursing a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption. This is the reason why conspiracies were hatched against the Chief Minister in the recent past, though none of these succeeded. Just like impartial investigation in the national highway 74 scam is exposing the truth, the facts in this case too will be ascertained, added Bhasin.
