Mussoorie MlA Ganesh Joshi who had secured bail around noon on Tuesday came out from the Suddhowala jail amid party workers raising slogans in his favour. With the news of the MlA Joshi being released on bail reaching the party offices, BJP activists led by senior leaders gathered at Suddhowala jail to give him a warm reception.
Hundreds of BJP supporters shouted slogans when Joshi emerged from the jail. Senior BJP leaders, including Khajan Das, Vinay Goyal and Umesh Aggarwal, were among those present outside the jail campus. Joshi thanked the party workers for lending support to him during the crisis.
He said that while in jail he was unaware of what had been happening in the State on the political front. He said he would disclose to the media on Wednesday about how the police and the jail administration had treated him during his arrest and subsequent incarceration. The first thing he did was to visit Jhajhra Hanuman Temple to offer prayer. Then he left for his home.
