BJP: Protest laughable attempt to divert focus from factionalism

PNS

The Bharatiya Janata Party has termed the Congress protest a laughable attempt to divert public focus away from the internal strife in the leaderless party. The factionalism in the Congress was also exposed in the protest.

The BJP State media in-charge Devendra Bhasin said that the Congress is undergoing a internal war from the central to the state level.

“There is no idea about the Congress’ national president as Rahul Gandhi has abandoned the sinking ship. The party is riddled with factionalism in the states too. Congress leaders are struggling for their survival and for this they are staging protests without any substantial issues. The protest on Monday was an example of this situation. Recently, a Congress leader headed a drama of courting arrests in which the other party leaders were absent. In the protest held on Monday, some other leaders were absent. The public is comprehending these dramas staged by the Congress. The issues used by the party in the protest are also distorted. The people know about the developmental works being undertaken by the BJP governments at the Centre and State. It would be better if the Congress leaders look back upon the decisions and actions taken during their own term in office. Today, inflation is under control, interest rates have decreased and the price of cooking gas has dropped by Rs 100. Petrol and diesel rates have been hiked but these will drop too in the future. In the Rafale case, the people have rejected the allegations leveled by the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections. But, when their party leaders again raise the issue, it only shows that they have lost their mental balance,” said Bhasin.
