BHEl honours its innovative employees for their inventive and state-of-the-art technological excellence every year by bestowing on them corporate level Excel Awards. This year too, two teams of employees from BHEl Haridwar were given these prestigious awards at a ceremony held in New Delhi. The awards were given by Union Minister (Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises) Anant Geete.
A felicitation ceremony was organised at BHEl Haridwar too, wherein executive director (HEEP) Prakash Chand honoured the members of both the Excel Award winning teams. Chand said they were all proud. The dedicated, competent and innovative employees are our real strength. They keep on bringing laurels for the company. The team which won the award for development of processes and fixtures for manufacturing of supercritical generators, comprised R K Chokhani, Rajbir Singh and Vinod Kumar. The other team comprising S K Baveja, Naveen Prakash, Deepak Kumar, Ajay Kumar and Sandeep Kumar won the laurels for designing and developing Duplex Heaters for 800 MW Yeramarus Project. Both the teams of HEEP have developed ultra-modern technologies in their respective fields, which has drastically reduced the cost of the equipment.
