Bhatt, MlAs submit memo following Bahuguna appeal

PNS

Following an appeal of the Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna, who has advised BJP leaders, including MP and MlAs, to submit their demand in writing during meeting at his office on Monday, leader of Opposition Ajay Bhatt along with other MlAs have submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister in his office on Tuesday.

As per the memorandum Bhatt said that in October 2, 2011 a fight took place in between a community and police and four people had lost their lives in Rudrapur. Then Kotwali station officer had lodged FIR (471/2011) and had mentioned deceased name Jaqi Ahmed, s/o Mannu Khan, which died because he was shot dead by a person known as Irshad at Indira chowk.

later a person known as Suheil Ahmed alleged that the bullet was fired by Rajkumar Thukral, who has become MlA in Assembly election-2012. Following on the allegation police lodged another complaint (192/2012) and Rajkumar Thukral was made an accused. He further mentioned that as per (471/2011) eye witness including circle officer and Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) had claimed that Irshad had fired bullet on police but it hit to Jaqi Ahmed and later he collapsed.

Bhatt alleged that with these two incidents case has become complicated and gives an impression that MlA Thukral is being grabbed in this case as part of conspiracy so he demanded that State should withdraw the case and conduct CBI enquiry on it. He also reiterated that if State Government fails to do it then BJP would organise State wide agitation.
