Concerned with poor utilisation of fund by different departments released under various plans for developmental works this financial year, the Bageshwar district administration has asked the officials concerned to utilise the fund released to their respective departments till August 31.
Reviewing the progress of various developmental works under district plan, 20 –point programme, State sector to name a few in Bageshwar on Friday, B S Manral, District Magistrate, Bageshwar, expressed his disappoint over delay in utilising the fund by the officials concerned released so far to their respective departments for carrying out certain developmental works.
At the same time the Bageshwar District Magistrate, strongly asked the officials concerned to expedite the fund utilisation process giving August 31 as deadline to spend the remaining fund.
Besides, he also directed the officials concerned of the district administration to submit work plan of the fund that has to be utilised, as soon as possible.
In the meanwhile, the District Magistrate also asked the officials concerned of those departments which have yet not received fund, to take up this issue with the head of departments for prompt release of the fund.Besides, he also reviewed the midday meal scheme and asked the officials to run the midday meal scheme in proper way.
